My name is John Xavier Woolfork, and I am a certified firearms instructor and the founder of the Woolfork Basic Pistol Course. I am at the beginning of my journey as an instructor, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to be part of that journey with me.

My passion for firearms started at a young age, having been around shooting since my teenage years alongside family members who served in both the military and law enforcement. Those early experiences built the foundation for my respect for firearm safety, discipline, and responsibility.

Today, I am dedicated to helping others develop confidence, knowledge, and safe handling skills with a pistol. I take pride in creating a welcoming and structured environment where students—especially beginners—can learn at their own pace while building a strong foundation.

My philosophy on shooting and self-defense is rooted in both passion and principle. I believe that the right to bear arms is an important part of our freedom here in the United States, and with that right comes the responsibility to be properly trained, knowledgeable, and safe.

The Woolfork Basic Pistol Course is designed not just to meet certification requirements, but to equip students with real-world understanding, proper technique, and the mindset needed for responsible firearm ownership.
